Thanks Thomas! Took the HL expecting range, thankfully got the scalp before it turned into wider downtrend. Then I took the 2ES confirming the wider channel, after 2 legged correction, great setup!

thank you so much Thomas for these very helpful videos, but can i kindly ask you why you called that bearish attempt 2ES and not the one before, we can very clearly see that there was a first attempt at the start of the pullback, and its also at the EMA so i would've definitely got stopped out 4:13

@@ThomasWade I noticed my mistake right after posting the comment but i didnt think you would answer lol, so i just left the comment as support. Anyways my mistake was that i forgot to reset the count after making a new low so what I thought was 2ES was actually only 1ES, I have to watch out next time 😅

This was a very great presentation. Quick question though? how many ticks do you target for your first scalp

Don't know for this one, but he typically targets 8-10 ticks (2 - 2.5 points) for the scalp portion, then leaves a runner and moves the stoploss to breakeven. He also trails the stop after every new swing high or low.

Thanks as always Tomas, you keep giving me confidence man, i also took the 2ES BOPB with same analysis, and i tought that i made a mistake.. Is it possible to make a video or a description in your yt community to explain the DT in detail please, thanks in advance.

Double trap is a with trend entry that forms when you expect 2nd entry at the EMA but something is wrong with the second entry. For example there is congestion, bad signal bar, stt in play etc. So double trap is 3rd entry with the trend but it must close above EMA in uptrend and below EMA in downtrend.

6:25 Hi Thomas, you say "2 downtrends need new extreme". So the downtrend from the wider channel needs new extreme and the shortened channel needs new extreme also. But how come we aren't counting the middle downtrend, the first shortened one that tried to test the wider downtrend low? Why does that not count as 3 downtrends need new extreme?

I think it’s just a technicality. also the middle is just a short term trend working lower and you can see it retraced around 75%, so we can disregard that one and we want to focus on the last short term trend that is new and expect a retest on that one, thats why we redraw the channel too, it’s become a trend of it’s own. Instead of just a retest of the middle one.

@@sacredgeometrytrading Perfectly said. The middle trend was retraced too much and we corrected too much, it felt like the push down is a new trend on its own. Especially if we combine it with main bias and main trend that needs new low.

There was 1ES at the bottom of the move. So this is the second time a bar attempted to go lower.

My chart today had literally no usable signal bars except that 2ES BOPB at the end of the day 😢.

I thought today was tough, still turend a small profit but tougher day today. The direction was clear at times but the timing was more difficult than usual.
