Hello Reshmi. These are two different classification. One on the basis of degrees (first, second amd third degree) and other on the basis of catagories (personal, place, geography). Even the personal price discrimination may become the first degree discrimination if firm is able to charge exactly the same price what a comsumer wants to pay.. All in all these are two different criteria of classifications.

No.. beacuse here we are taking the single cost curves for both the markets. Only revenue curves differ. So there will be a combined equilibrium where total margial cost equals combined cost curves just like the previous diagram.

Hello Harshita.. Watch the full videos to know the difference. These two are entirely different topics. In this I am discussing discriminating Monopoly (where a monopolist charge different prices from different customers) Whereas under Monopoly market I have discussed everything about Monopoly. Price discrimination is one of the strategy a monopolist can adopt.
