Although again what I want to say is, for people who want to buy cars, please remember there are lot of difference between American cars and European cars. That of European cars are more of quality and a bit expensive so for someone who want to buy car, should decide whether European or US. I work at Mercedes-Benz car company as a car Engineer so that's why am saying. And too I will advise please 🙏 is not good to buy cars with lot of kilometres Although those kilometres can be tampered but always ask for the service book this way you can know who good that car is. Am Chuks by name, I live in Germany and incase you need advice or some help or any questions, it will be my pleasure to assist. Please again be careful of some Mechanic. I think sometimes there are lots of experience you as a car owner need to have and not completely depending on your Mechanic. Another thing is, for example the Rx 300 of European is Rx 350 of America and that's how it is with some of the Mercedes-Benz car. Please also ask about the fuel consumption per kilometres and not just to buy a car without knowing about that. I have Lexus RX400h 3.3liter engine. I think the dealers information associating the years to the models isn't fully accurate. In most cases, a car that looks the same but has different year. I.e a Benz C300, if I bought that car in Benz C300 in 2008 brand new and register it the same year and in 2010 I return to buy the exact same car brand new, the car will be registered on the road for 2010.. although I now have 2 exact same car, one is registered in 2008 and the other 2010.. they remain exactly the same model despite the different year of first registration. A new model will need to be completely distinguished from previous model for it to be considered a different model.. i.e. Benz C300D . This will be considered a different model from C300. The year is commonly associated with the year that car is first registered to be driven on the road..
