Hello from Canada! Great video! You are interesting, enthusiastic and adorable. I am shocked at how high the prices are for vehicles there!! 😮 I didn’t expect that at all, I thought they would be much cheaper: 300M for the used Land Rover Discovery is 3 times as much as here! 3 times!! 😳 I know they look nice but are very unreliable and VERY expensive to fix and just maintain. The maroon Toyota Rumion was closest to our prices here. We call that car a Scion xB. My ex gf had one and it was reliable and good on fuel. Subaru is also reliable and cheap on fuel with all wheel drive for safety. I’ll check out your travel videos as I am coming to Uganda in December.

Its mainly because of the taxes but also the market perspective ,most people in the ugandan market consider rangerovers as "highly valuable" luxury brands. this is what many middlemen take advantage of. the same applies to the real estate sector there are some houses that are priced more expensively than houses in abroad (over 500k dollars) simply because there is a niche market that can afford them
