He will answer, don't be discouraged if it doesn't happen right away, Jesus wants to reveal himself to you but he wants to do it in a impactful way and be your perfect Father. Sometimes I don't understand why he doesn't speak audibly and directly to me all the time, but I trust he has a plan. Read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and take note of Jesus's last conversation where he tells about how he's leaving so God can send the Holy Spirit. I would reccomend praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, everything changed for me the moment that happened. Much love!

You are enough thats why Jesus died just for you he took all the weight of your sin on Him because he loves you that much.. we could never match up with the love of God because his love is a gift it was never earned. I too felt this way for many years i believed the lie the enemy would whisper to me that im not enough then if im not the. JESUS AND HIS SACRIFICE wasnt enough. See how he gets us to believe that by believing we arent. Jesus took all your guilt its time you release it and let him love on you. You are enough and you are loved. I will pray for you. It's about RELATIONSHIP with the Lord. Church attendance is where you fellowship and learn more about Him (though you should also do that privately). It is my prayer that you will accept Him not only as Savior, but as Lord. Repent for how you have fallen short and acknowledge to God that He sent His only Son to die for you and to take the place for the sins and wrongdoings you (and all of us) have done. Ask Him to forgive and change you, and He will. Then, ask Him to reveal Himself to you by His Spirit and to let you know that He is with you. When said with the earnestness that I hear in your statement above, He will do it. You will likely hear and feel Him through peace and closeness, as His spirit connects with and communes with yours. It's not spooky; it is relationship and love manifested. I pray that you find Him, as He is there waiting for you. Jeremiah 29:12 - 13 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Things will clear up, I've felt like that for a while. What's helped is just relaxing, like truly not worrying, and just focusing on loving God and loving others, and knowing that Jesus died for us, so we can just know He has already taken care of everything. God bless (:
