I really appreciate your videos. A lot of very valuable information - especially for someone just on the verge of starting out. I’m still figuring out who my target audience will be, keeping in mind what you said in another video when you compared costs of vinyl on t-shirts versus onesies. I also appreciate that you content is valid whether you live in USA or in Europe (as I do).

My bird Bell loves your voice! I watched for the info but once it ended, she stopped singing.

My general rule is the cost of my materials x3 is what I sell it for that's just for basic stuff.. if it takes a lot of time or it's intricate I charge x4 or even x5.

My products take an average of 3-4 hours to make and the materials costs can be anywhere between $30 and $55. So I’m REALLY struggling to price my items. 😕 I hate putting a $120-$150+ price tag on my products but I also don’t want to take a loss. If I add in shipping costs that puts me around or near the $200+ mark. 😣 I don’t know what to do anymore. 😢

Amazing video! I make purses & clothes & undersell so bad. Question: Do you include the full material cost if you use a fraction if it?

Hi Trebushea, I'm really struggling trying to price my crocheted bag holders. By my calculations my time alone makes them more expensive than anyone is going to pay for them. And that doesn't even include the price of the materials. So I'm thinking that I should just come up with an acceptable price and sell them for that. It takes me 70 hours to crochet one of my Bag Ladies and even if I charge the minimum wage for my area it is still more expensive than anyone will pay. So what do you suggest? Is there a different way to calculate products that take 70 hours to craft?

dont Barter your prices, Dont accept a customer that is deliberately problematic and entitled. that includes refunds if the item is not damaged. if you desperately take any customer they own you. have a retail mindset for returns and custom made deposits.
