Pride and Prejudice 1995 BBC Location Tour

Oh my! This is BEAUTIFUL! So lovely to see all these areas associated with the making of the 1995 dramatization of "Pride and Prejudice." The scenery! The visual tour through those estates! The musical background. All this saturates my being! How on earth can such a story after so many centuries touch the depths of my being?! I have tried to read Jane Austen's other literary works, but none have inspired me to greater devotion to Jane Austen than "Pride and Prejudice." I visited a British pen pal way back in the early 1980s and she blessed me with the opportunity to visit as many Jane Austen sites as possible. I photographed practically every square inch of Chawton, her father's Church, and Jane's burial site. Oh heavy heavy sigh!! Thank you so very much for this exquisite walk down memory lane. A blessed and festive celebration of Christmas and a very happy New Year 2021. 🙏❤

For fans of Pride and Prejudice, I found a book, quite by accident called, 'The Other Bennet Sister', written by Janice Hadlow. It,s a wonderful book which satisfies a deep feeling of what became of Mary. It,s impossible to put it down and would make quite a decent movie. I find this book re-readable, it,s so compelling.

Hello, thank you so much for this very iteresting video. I am French, and more and more found of Jane Austen, especially Pride and Prejudice - that I just read in english - (although Darcy is a little bit too cartoonish, exagerated, in real life no one changes so much !) one of my dreams is to visit those places... Also those in relation with Thomas Hardy.
