I am a big fan of the novel (it's been a long time since I last read it though so I should probably remedy that), but personally I'm an even bigger fan of the 2005 film adaptation starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen - I rewatch it at least once a year with some friends of mine who share this passion with me! @@HALIDONMUSIC I've never watched the 2005, but I did watch the 1995 and I LOVED it. They were very loyal to the historical accuracy and to the story itself, which I really enjoyed. They quoted a lot of the book line-per-line, which was so beautiful to me. Have you seen the 1995 version? I don't know much about the 2005 version, so if you have a favorite part to get me more interested, I would love to hear it. It also sounds so fun to watch the movie with friends. I wish I could join you all, but Italy is still a little too far away.
