Brilliant tv adaptation - don’t know how many times I’ve watched it. But I think Mr D would have given Miss Eliza Bennett’s pert opinions a miss. After that put down and humiliation, I think he would have hated her and got over her pretty quickly.

Ehle is the WORST Liz EVER! Firth is the best Darcy ever. Have seen all versions each multiple times. Hate the Colin version bc Ehle was poorly, totally miscast. Also floored that Ehle was 26 then - she looked 38. Not a fan of her or her acting. Firth rocks in all.
