I used to walk up there to Garrett Mtn with my best friend when I was a kid. Brings back a lot of adventures. I’m from 20th avenue. Living in Florida now. Thank you for these videos.

Not many know that there used to be homes in the early 1900s just down the hill from the castle past the fence about 500 yards in just above the route 19 highway i found property stones & home foundations while hiking yrs ago & a few posible burial sites located just below where police target practice site is just word of caution lots of ticks & bushes & branches in the way to get there its not on map but its there in mostly buried by nature. Keep the vids coming👍👍👍👍👍

There's no burial sites, but there was a train station and hotel just below the old main entrance . I have photos of it from around 1900. Also there was an art gallery and an Italian garden where the parking area is.

Hi Freddy! I really enjoy your videos and especially this one! Inside Lambert Castle there are portraits of the Van Winkle family from Hawthorne (my hometown), who were murdered in 1850. My friend Don Smith wrote a book about it in 2011.

I saw the episode of the Holtzer files about a month and half ago. I was told once that Lambert castle was haunted. I am pretty sure that that home has seen its fair share of things. Being born and raised Paterson, I have never ever visited the castle till this day even when I pass by it most of the time. I' ll visit soon lol.

Oddly, I didn't see museum hours on any of the doors, but I too would like to see the inside and see the artifacts. If they allow it, I will film an episode on it

@@PrideInPaterson According to their website, its going to be closed due to renovations this year. But I hope they will reopen at least for Fall 2020.
