With the New Year comes new beginnings. In an effort to continue to curate cutting edge pan-African content, I Never Knew TV has collaborated with The Lion's Voice Network to bring authentic Ras Tafari and pan-African voices to our ever growing platform. The Lion's Voice Network prides itself in allowing the Lion's to tell their own story and with our example of pan-African cooperation in action we are confident that the Lions time has truly come! Enjoy and remember to like, comment and share!
Priest Fagan is a Nyahbinghi elder, and the founder of the Ras Tafari School of Vision in the Mountains of St. Andrew. The RasTafari school of Vision is a thriving RasTafari community based on a strict biblical interpretation of the Ras Tafari movement.
Priest Fagan, a former Jamaica Defense force (JDF) officer, is a Priest and farmer in addition to a founding member of the newly established Ras Tafari Mansion and Organizations (RMO).
In part 2 of this reasoning, Priest Fagan shares his disappointment in Jamaican artist. He believes reggae artist have failed to use their wealth to help Rastafari and the youths of Jamaica.

Artist come to Ethiopia but always bypass shashamane, i wonder why. Always addis never shashamane. I will tell you why, there is no money in shashamane. We in shashamane are working hard here to build up the land for others to come. We don't put our trust in money, the struggle continues. Jah bless.

No matter how famous or prominent any reggae artist is…no matter how inspirational Rasta is…importantly..All Black people should have UNITY…but they don’t, because they only think about themselves. They all live and dwell like Islands…instead of merging together. Until the black race unite..every factions and minorities will be weak. Those musicians singing about Rasta..making money while the real Rasta brethren’s up in the hills struggle…but Jah nuh dead.

From wha day me & some brethren did ah hold a reasoning! Rastafari ah preach repatriation bk 2 the motherland from long time! Which Rastafari musician from Jamaica has actually made that physical permanent movement to Ethiopia from the West??? We couldn't think of any besides the exception of Rita Marley whom was living in Ghana! But I think she's been living in Miami now due to her medical condition.

Haile Selassie and his family owned the treasury (all the money in the central bank) and hid some of this money in Swiss Banks? Yup. But that’s just one of the bad things he did. As one can sympathize with how Ethiopia suffering the wrongdoings of the Brits, Haile is also responsible for his selfish actions on his own people (Ethiopians). He was a leader to some Ethiopians by giving education them, building diplomatic ties etc and at the same time he did bad. He illegally annexed Eritrea into Ethiopia by force with the British and the UN giving it to them as an allowance for helping them in WWII. Doing this broke the UN International Law (Not like brits haven’t done that before). Haile forced Eritreans to speak the Ethiopian national language (Amharic) and killed anyone who spoke Tigrinya. Any opposition groups (ELF, and later EPLF) who were denied their rights and spoke out against unfair treatment and subjugation were publicly hung out in the streets to demoralize the people. Countries like the US, and UK send investments to Ethiopia regularly. Some of these investments are tax money. Well…he is responsible for laundering money meant for the Ethiopian people. He held out money for himself and for his kids to inherit. He ignored the pleas of his own starving people, but he was able to convince the UN visitation committee (that were to determine the future of Eritreas rule) to stay within the boundaries of Addis Ababa. He would host big banquets with exotic foods rather than feed his own people. Lastly he is responsible for the rise of “the most doctoral regime (in ethiopia)” according to Aman Andom. His actions led to the rise of the Derg. These people ruined Ethiopia and Eritrea during this reign. Some his wrong doings are in the book called “I didn’t do it for you” By Michela Wrong

The rasta artists never capitalize on their wealth they are against vanity but they are the same one who drives the biggest Benz & BMw in Jamaica.they build the biggest house which makes no sense. Most of these artists are broke now, have nothing to fund their 2nd half of their life. Bob Marley is the best example.

Rastafar was never meant to be fundamentalist such as modern Religions of today. Rastafari at its core was a black liberation movement. Rastafari movement is a progress since all the cards are not on the table. It should have been a Republic! Rastafari is symbolic and we are a world created unto H.I.M by his subtle majesty. The intention was never to have different mansions within Rastafari. Rastas were supposed to have been like the ancient sages of old who were without dogmas. Rastas are the ancient Predynastic Egyptian called the Typhonian, Priesthood of the Dwarves (Anu Pygmies), Mesenti (followers of Heru of Edfu) and Olmec which later branched off as the Gnostics, sufis, Sadhus, Bahetawi etc.
