An exorcist once said that a demon told him during an exorcism that "if humans knew what hell was like, they'd be on their knees in front of the tabernacle 24 hours a day" That's good enough for me...praying in our prayer chapel is PARAMOUNT for my spiritual well being. The real presence is so powerful a sacrament that I'm surprised how many Catholics don't seek its graces.

@@tasiaflynn3549I had someone do a lot of damage to my family 40 yrs ago. I’ve carried hatred for all those yrs. In getting much more serious about our Church, I confessed the hatred I had in my heart for this person. I no longer think about it much. It’s like I was given a clean slate and when those thoughts start creeping in I just nudge them away. It’s actually pretty easy now. I don’t want him to have that power over me anymore. I can actually see myself forgiving this guy now. It will free me completely. I’m almost there.

I've had some weird things happen to me as I have grown in the TLM Mass (2 years as a TLMer). Out of the blue I heard a voice and had a vision of my grandmother's sister, who I never met. I knew that she was asking for prayers and a Mass in her name. I did. I also "felt" that she was telling me to get a Mass for my grandmother, which I did.I always have Masses said for my grandparents, parents, aunts &uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, that have left this world, on their Birthday and the Day of their death. Enough of family. I heard two different sisters from two orders ask me to pray for them. I need to get Masses and Mass Cards so I can send them to the Motherhouses in case some of the Sisters want to come. And lastly, I found a Funeral Card for some lady in NJ on the floor of the Choirloft at the TLM Parish where I sing (near Philadelphia). She wasn't a member. Another Mass Card. And lastly, I found a funeral card in my dad's Old St. Joseph Missal printed in 1950---yes, I'm getting a Mass Card! I believe that if you keep your heart and eyes and ears open you will find the messages that are sent to you. You Sacrifice your $12 half soup and salad and pack your lunch and offer that little sacrifice up in the form of a Mass.

One of the reasons I became s Roman Catholic was the modern evangelical ( and I give credit where credit is due; neither Luther nor Wesley nor Spurgeon taught thus) emphasis on 'what God can do for me' teachings. Not just the prosperity gospel but the general misguided 'God will make me happy" message that is doomed to failure. I have pointed out that the Christ is callled the Man of Sorrows. To achieve inner peace and to carry one's Cross for love of Him, in obedience to Him is. NOT earthly happines and was never meant to be! But it is peace of mind and spirit, it is contentment and rest. There will be death. Illness. Earthly worry and broken hearts. But my heart is with Christ and HIS heart is with those who suffer. In the book, The Flame of Love, by Elizabeth Kindelman, Our Lady recommends we offer daily intentions. Monday is reserved for those priests detained in Purgatory.. Please pray the Holy Spirit disposes their heart’s to this devotional. Then maybe, suggest this to your priests and these Holy Masses and weekly offerings will help to empty Purgatory which is essential to The Triumph of The Immaculate Heart. Besides, these poor priest need your prayers, understanding and reparation prayers. I’m so grateful for this devotion. It’s just astounding how great is God’s goodnesses and Mercies! Let’s do everything to relieve Our Mother’s most Sorrowful-Heart. We can never repay Her. Let’s do all we can and maybe throw out your television and purifying your minds, Will purify your heart and keep in a State of Grace. You won’t regret it! Courage! . P.S. Sometimes a Priest needs reporting to his Bishop. All Priests are not good. Some should be booted out bcse they are fake Priests working from within the Church to bring it down. Bishops and Cardinals too. The Laity need to wake up. It is also OUR job to evangelise. We should respect and obey our Priests and Bishops but only if they deserve it.

You are half right. Canon law 212 gives Catholics the right and the DUTY to call out heresy, sin, and error of a cleric at ANY level. Up to one half of the clergy are sodomites/apostates or heretics. I pray for all clergy but do not FAIL to recognize their PUBLIC sin. False compassion is as deadly as mortal sin. Fraternal correction is a spiritual work of mercy.

Agreed, we are all sinners and need to be purified in purgatory- some longer and harsher than others depending on the result of God's judgement. Couldn't help noticing the gentleman's thoughtless manner when making the sign of the cross. We perform & utter the act without any thought. Then one day during my morning prayers wee hours of the morning, I heard a voice say "Why are you persecuting me". .....silence.....I looked at the Crucifix and said ...me persecuting You ...... silence.........voice said ' YES, EVERY TIME YOU SPEAK ILL OF A PRIEST, YOU PERSECUTE ME....LET ME BE THEIR JUDGE'. From that day onwards I never speak about priests instead pray for them.

I have always thought nuns and priests would probably go to purgatory but not for very long. I'm sure there are priests and nuns that go there and may be judged harder because they have chosen to be example. The Flame of Love Unity Prayer includes the petition that "With filial confidence we pray to you, Blessed Virgin, that with the Flame of Love of your Immaculate Heart, kindled by the Holy Spirit, you will ignite the hearts of all humanity so that, like you, we will have a perfect love for God and neighbor". The prayer also includes the petition that "Thanks to your fast, from now on the soul of a priest will be freed from purgatory within eight days of his death. And anyone who observes this fast will obtain this grace for a suffering soul".

@@teenherofilms I know that the Bible is not easy to understand , esp. when God seems to be a "harsh" judge and that it was written a long time ago. Because it is a book meant to be studied "exegesis " with Scripture Scholars, who believe in God who is "Transcendent" above all human int elect even the most intelligent, it has to be read in the "Light of Faith" to grasp the total meaning of how God communicates His Word to us. Yes, the apostles were uneducated men but that doesn't mean they were not "average." They were given God's grace, to write what God wanted to communicate including all the writers of old and new Testaments, (some of the Prophets in old Testament were educated, though I'm not sure if all of them were. Also, St. Paul who writes in New Testament ,was highly educated and St Luke was a physician. I do understand that faith is a gift from God. If you want, you can search info about Dr. Scott Hahn who has a "brilliant" intellect and is a devout Catholic. There are many others too including some we call Saints, because of their exemplary "holy" lives, who also were "intellectual." If you really want to know if God exists, you can ask Him to reveal himself to you. I know of atheists who have done this and it happened to them. God answers those who sincerely seek Him. I wish you well.

Also, we should never judge priest’s and bishop’s. Its ok to be sad ,angry or concerned about bad/scandalous behavior, but not to judge. We have no idea how bad the temptations tare that they face. If they fall it’s because we aren’t praying enough. At the very least, pray for every priest who ever offered mass for you. God bless our priest’s.

That is true. Judas was present during the Last Supper which is also the The Institution of the Eucharist. Unfortunately, he killed himself because of shame. So yes. Judas is the first priest in hell. Just to add, St. Dimas, the good thief who repented on the cross was the first soul to skip purgatory despite his sins because Jesus promised him that he will be in paradise. Dimas confessed. And Jesus Himself was his confessor. How beautiful is that. 🌷

I never suffered from this juvenile delusion and I think fewer and fewer Catholics do these days. God didn't give us intellects to remain at the comprehension level of an infant. "The corridors of hell are paved with the skulls of bishops." St. Thomas Aquinas. St. Teresa of Avila was a lukewarm nun for years and God showed her the place in hell she would have occupied, had she not repented. The fewness of the saved is Church Doctrine; Jesus Christ made this perfectly clear. Please pray the Rosary DAILY as the Holy Virgin requests, repeatedly.

Of course there are religious in Purgatory. Does that really come as a shock? There are very few souls that are so perfect so as to go straight to heaven when they die. I have only had one priest ask me to pray for him after confessions. We need to pray for all priests and religious. They’re held to a much higher standard, so it is crucial that we pray for them, the more they know the harder they will be judged versus the lay person.

I started a Seven Sisters group for our pastor four years ago and it has been a blessing for me. My Sisters willing recommit each June. My holy hours are more natural and consoling as time goes by. I am drawn more often to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament. Our pastor has expressed his appreciation.

I am eagerly awaiting your research findings I often say the prayer of St Gertrude .There is also an app for the chaplet of St Gertrude and as Our Lord Jesus promised should release 50000 souls !

That promise is unfortunately false. There is no evidence that Saint Gertrude recieved such a promise(or that it would account for anyone except her) and the church has disapproved of prayer cards and the like that claim their prayer to release souls from purgatory immediatly
