Turning and strafing needs a lot of work. I wish the lion pounce has more biting defined animations like thrashing its skin while on pounce to be more immersive because currently it lion pounce look like a piggy backing like a statue or a backpack.

I agree 100%, this is very early stages and first animations so we hope it gets updated and the animations completed to look more realistic. Right now it feels it’s set up one way like a Nintendo game from the 90s lol. Still this game is not even public so I’m sure it’s just early stages. Thanks for the comment :)

That's how it is in real life, they just hang on with their mouths and dig their claws in, they don't thrash.

It is definitely in the very early stages. I myself have never played animalia since it never really looked as realistic as to get me to play it. Im hoping for this one to raise the bar as far as mechanics. So far love the map and realism and I am giving the devs the time to improve on the mechanics. I’m optimistic for this one. Hope it lives to my standard and it thrives in giving us a dynamic and realistic animal gameplay experience.

Last devs have mentioned is that they have recently fixed every error with the game so far, so final step for getting servers up is finally here. And once they are able to get steam to launch the game it should all be a smooth sailing so the game will finally release soon😃

Agree, although having in mind this game is in early development it is to be expected. I do hope they flesh out the animations more and they look more realistic. It’s a new game and given the competition I’m sure it will be updated to move more realistic as far as the fighting mechanics. Will definitely keep you all updated on the progress.
