Yeah they’re awesome both Stefan Leibing and Henny Wolter are great guitarists it’s sad that Stefan retired from music after he left the band in 2008 he left because he wanted to spend more time with his family and business but family comes first I respect his decision to leave the band since 2016 he plays guitar again for himself Magnus Karlsson is great too but I miss Stefan Henny Tom and Stefan were a great guitar duo same as Magnus Tom and Alex in Primal Fear too

Actually, they've said themselves that it was Gamma Ray who had a large influence upon them. It is merely coincidence that they sound like JP. Though I don't doubt they've heard of them, haha... But did you know that there is a band that has been around years before Avenged Sevenfold, that sounds A LOT like them? Nocturnal Rites. And guess what? They have an album called Afterlife, that was out two to four YEARS before A7x's album of the same name. Kinda makes you wonder...
