You know how you can go along thru life and not notice something until it splits your nose open and you feel the blood gushing down your face? I have been a headbanger, rocker, skid, metal monger, call it what you will, all my life. I never heard of these guys till a few weeks ago! How did I miss them? I was watching a documentary and they mentioned Primal Fear. I looked them up and I have been digging the hell out of them every day. I went bought 3 albums last weekend!

Yeah they’re awesome Magnus Karlsson Tom Naumann and Alex Beyrodt are great guitarists both Stefan Leibing and Henny Wolter were great too it’s sad that Stefan retired from music after he left the band in 2008 he left because he wanted to spend more time with his family and business but family comes first I respect his decision to leave the band since 2016 he plays guitar again for himself Magnus Karlsson is great too but I miss Stefan Henny Tom and Stefan were a great guitar duo same as Magnus Tom and Alex in Primal Fear too

Hey bro. No - no Randy Black on drums. This is the original drummer Klaus Sperling - one of the founding members of the band. He was with Primal Fear for the first four discs. Tom Naumann & Stefan Leibing are on guitars here, neither of whom are with the band any longer either. Notice the the stage banners - they are from the Nuclear Fire tour. So this video is from Primal Fear's 2001 Wacken appearance.

Yeah I know but he still became a member the only reason why he couldn’t fully commit was because of scheduling conflicts and the distance of where they live (Germany and Brazil) it woulda been cool if he stayed but I still give him credit as a member a great drummer overall I liked him in Angra and Hangar played as a touring drummer with Dragonforce W.A.S.P. and other bands too Randy and Klaus are my favourites but I thought the other drummers were great too🤘

As for Randy Black He’s an Alberta native he was born in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan he grew up here in Edmonton he went to college here for a year and back in the day he use to play at the bars and clubs here he’d lived here until 1993 when he moved to Vancouver to play with Annihilator he’d also live there until 1998 when he moved to Berlin Germany and has lived there ever since I always think about Randy Black here in Edmonton because he grew up here and he is a awesome drummer🤘
