I see you run the GT5.....I got weird problems with it. Everytime I steer the power to the motor gets interrupted. My friend found a solution in the SVC-settings. Problem is, more often than not the transmitter tells me "AVC is unavailable"....so I cannot solve the steering/throttle-issue. Not very happy with this remote....to say the least.

The issue is that 1:1 issues became very apparent in RC form. Like you said, you couldn’t control it in the air, it weighs about 85 lbs. on such a large scale build using throttle and brake control of the wheels has less effect. On a plastic rc vehicle, especially electric, the wheels are more of the weight equation and their impact on performance in the air is amplified. I’m ecstatic that you attempted this kind of experiment, it just solidified the difference between what you can do with different RC scale vehicles and where the line blurs. The real Gravedigger definitely isn’t going off a scale version of the Death Ramp pulling a double rear or back flip and driving away 😂

Super cool! This is my humble opinion: it’s a gorgeous piece of engineering to run up and down the street/lot and admire. Then, when it’s time to bash, get out a Traxxas or Arma and go ape. Love the vids …. go Thunder.
