Great tutorial Ant. Well worth the wait. Another tutorial which adds the details that other guitar tutorials don't . You've cleared a few parts of this song which I wasn't sure of. Thank you.
@AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials5 жыл бұрын
Yeah sorry to keep you waiting! I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like so many people get the introduction wrong for some reason?! Haha, hopefully this'll clear the air and make Rocks a bit more accessible to play live!
@mr.stevejones19475 жыл бұрын
@@AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials No, it's not just you Ant. I've been wondering about the introduction for quite some time. In fact it was your intro that I was looking forward to the most.. I think the problem may arise from the guitar mag tab that has been around for a few years for Rocks which has influenced internet available guitar tab such as Guitar Pro files. I still wonder if there is a bottom open E on the last 8th note of the first bar. Some tab I've seen show the open D and G strings of the G chord picked separately. Then at the end of the first two bars of the intro some tab shows the 4th fret of the G string played twice, which I believe is the 6th of D chord, along with the open D string. I realise that my explanation might be a bit difficult to follow. My point is that your demonstration is a lot simpler and seems true to the original.

Excellent tutorial Ant as always. Really helped me out. Our covers band will be doing this as soon as the lockdown is lifted. We already do Country Girl, so this will nicely bookend our sets. Very impressed with your channel.

yay, the lesson is great, got it down, very well explained. In trying to work it out myself and failing up until now, I hadn't been able to separate the 2 guitar parts, so that was particularly useful. Brilliant Ant, well done
@AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials5 жыл бұрын
Fantastic stuff Sean, yeah it's a strange thing to try and work out which guitar is which, I tried it a few ways and guessed the best one of the bunch haha! The second guitar isnt essential but a nice touch if you have someone else with you for sure 👍👍 hope to see you play it in the future eh! ;)
