If you used a Miracle Ebonyal with Hellish Power, a Blue Star Robe with Anti-Attack Veil and an Energianica with Gracious Melody, you can end up with Devil's Pact L instead of S and Four-Colour Feather XL instead of S and Presto (5 stars) instead of Adagio (2 stars) instead.

I think you meant Energianica with Peaceful Melody, the highest tier effect. Anyway thanks for this info, made my weapons so much more powerful!

@@siden87 Ah yes my bad. Generally you want the highest tier effect on the item you want to pass the EV trait. Same goes when you want to add EV traits to your core items.

So, from some poking around, the Devil's Pact L can actually be made even better. EV-Link the Miracle Ebonyal with a Witch's Potion to get a Lunatic Debyonal. Fill out the new Effect 1 nodes on this to upgrade the effect to Hellish Contract. This will get your weapon Devil's Covenant, the 5 star version of Devil's Pact.

Small tip for anyone looking here: There's a quick alchemy loop you can do in early-mid game if you wanna start leveling up traits where you can make a Red Neutralizer to use to make Zettel, which you can use to make for another Red Neutralizer & so on until you maxed the traits you want out. Later when you have more materials to work with you can add effects to em like "Add (Gunpowder)" if you want to start moving em to other material items you couldn't before

you can actually go Neutralizer > Zettel > Travelers Water Orb > Neutralizer aswell to get more items in

All of the Neutralizers are so nice to loop on themselves for super early max quality in this one, but Red really takes the cake. The fact that you can add Fuel and Gunpowder categories to it, which are what the majority of its own material loops are...I'll admit I straight up giggled at the potential as soon as I saw it.

little note for the denis reinforcement, you can get better effect in the form of presto, four color feather XL and devil convenant (same effect that you use but better) , to get those effect you need a max out effect 1 on each of the following item : blue star robe (obtain by fusing mystic robe and energianica) , energianica that have peaceful melody , and lunatic deboyal (obtain by fusing miracle ebonyal and a witch potion)

yea im aware of that now, although i also no longer use four color feather, i instead use (i think its called) Ancient cultivation? its from the ancient bug and increases all items

On the Mystical Wonder step, instead of just using "whatever" with effect spread (in the video, he uses a Crystal Element), If you use a Ancient Philo with Effect Spread +4 and Add Lightning, you can squeeze out a few extra attack by hitting the ATK node on the far right side of the grid

The tier of the Effect you get from Reinforcing is most likely tied to how good the item is that you use as fodder. In the video he uses an A rank Energianica, and it gives the base form of the effect (Adagio). If you use a better version, probably with more effects and S rank, you can get upwards of the 4th tier of the effect (Presto) Also for anyone wondering about the 1st item he uses to reinforce, it's called the Blue Star Robe and is made from EV-Linking the Mystic Robe and Energianica. Also for the 3rd item used, he uses a Miracle Ebonyal, but you can get a higher tier effect from using a Lunatic Debonyal, which is made from EV-Linking a Miracle Ebonyal and Witch's Potion

So in the tier 5 part, you actually don’t need to use the ancient philosopher stone for the spread. Instead of doing that, just use the fire and wind essences on the nodes to unlock their next level abilities even though they are still locked, then dump as many Orgen ingots as you can into the bottom node. During the rebuild, you can drop the ancient philosopher stone onto that node for the spread, then drop some more ingots to fully unlock those abilities. End result: the weapon After the item rebuild is slightly higher item level, but the stats will be 231-559-248-366 as opposed to yours which was 224-543-240-354. Also, unless the game was patched, you can get better effects from Dennis. My Blue Star Robe was also rank S and 999 quality like yours, but I built it so it had 4CC instead of your 7CC, and I had the skills Perpetual Machine-Rapid++ 30-Area Bonus++ 20 on. As a result, it gave me the skill Four Color Feather at XL instead of S. My Energianca was built for 2CC at rank S and 999 quality, with the same skills as my Blue Star Robe. It gave me the skill Presto, which is the max level version of Adagio. Finally, my Miracle Ebonyal was 1CC, rank S, 999 quality, same skills,and it gave me the skill Devil’s Pact L instead of your lower version.

Small nitpick: You didn't mention that in order to use an ES Spirinite where you do, you also have to add the Wind element to it, which requires essence (otherwise, the other element unlocked will be Ice, not useful in that particular loop). Small thing, but might save someone else the time of having to go back and re-craft their Spirinite like I did. Otherwise, excellent video as always.

If we are being nitpicking anyway. He also didn't need to rebuild the weapon to unlock trait slots, all the trait slots were already unlocked in the previous iterations by one of the many used effect spread items.

9:06 all traits are activated due to fulfilling a trait slot in an earlier loop with philosopher's stone. There is no need to waste item rebuilding for that slot when it nets you nothing

I'm curious as to why you didn't go Supercooling, Remnant of Eternity, Diaelectric or Mana Heat? These 4 Traits should be spread out to the party and replace the Skill Charge+. Inflicting Debuff are quite good tbh, Diaelectric inflicts double stun damage, Super Cooling increases Physical Damage, Remnant of Eternity increases magical damage and Mana Heat turns your attack to fire base and once the debuff applies to lvl 3 even fire resistant enemies become vulnerable/weak to fire damage.

i have been wondering, when you go to add the essence why don't you add them while they are locked? that way you could save an item or two for a bit more stats.

If you do not like pedanticism, ignore me, This is literally me writing several paragraphs on how to achieve the same exact thin in different ways or gain miniscule stat bonuses (one of which, at least, you talked about yourself after I wrote it anyway). Hmm, on Inversion, If you use ingots instead of the spirinite, since you can use GRand Orgen on the ingot slot, you will get more stats from using a Criminea instead of the spirinite. Then at the jewel slot, yes, Eldrocode+Criminea is as far as I can see better. Then There is one more option which is using an ES Samasten ingot in the (ingot slot), skipping over the jewel slot, then adding a Criminea in the Criminea slot. It's less overall stats but it if the stats on a Samasten for some reason suit your fancy a bit more than the stats on an eldrocode, that's something to consider. If you want to maximise attack, I think Effect spread on the jewel slot is the best option since Eldrocode only gives 6 attack, while it opens up an extra quantity at the end for a Grand Orgen that gives you 14, subtract the 4 attack you would have gotten from a Criminea it's an overall increase of 4 Attack. On the Mystical wonder one, if you for some reason want to save a few thousand gems (lol) Since the slot after the one you used the crystal element on is (ingot) you can just put whatever in the (magical) slot and but a grand orgen in the (ingot) slot, like, stat wise, it makes zero difference, but I thought I'd mention it since I'm already being a pedant anyway. On the Azure Tear, There are two different way of doing the exact same thing (don't judge me, I'm having fun) Because if you do put a spirinite into the first Spirinite slot, and then you put an ES Samasten into the (ingot) slot, you also get to the next tier with 1 samasten and 1 regular item. Like, yeah, it's exactly the same thing. Okay, It honestly seems like you didn't notice this, but that last trait slot you missed, you didn't need it. you unlocked all three trait slots probably by the time you passed the second weapon.

When I’m done crafting the gear and I head to Dennis’ workshop to reinforce gear, it seems like I only have 1 slot available, while 2 are locked. Can you explain what unlocks those two slots?

the stats are way lower but it has the effect which boosts items. items dont gain anything from stats and none of her other staffs boost items

Don't you think the effect of her 2nd weapon (increase stat at start of battle + chance to lower one enemy random stat) is better than Radiance XL which is mostly for items?

No, because items are truly king in atelier, alchemists should never go the route of boosting stats over item power, only other characters should
