In this episode of Overlanding in a Van. We decided to quit the route we were working on because the rain and mud were getting too horrible. We decided to find a nice mountain spot and enjoy a relaxing camping experience instead.

Despite all the bad weather, you fellows managed to put together a great camping trip. I especially enjoy seeing your camping skills on display. The gathering and chopping of wood, the food preparation, the fire pit, and even the whiskey, really make it real. I admit to recently buying a $100 lava rock portable propane fire pit. It’s been a joy to use, and allows us to have a “real” fire in campgrounds that don’t allow wood fires. Thanks for “taking us along” on your adventures. Happy Trails
