Two years ago I have it living with the frustration of owning a tool that I know is very valuable for sound design but I do not know how it works (ending most of time using presets), so many thanks :-)

Dude, amazing delivery. Laughed a bunch at your genuine enthusiasm. Makes it very easy to get just as excited about bundle 5 which I bought yesterday.

I've had this since it came out but never dived into it and forgot all about it. Super cool plugin. It probably would have gone unused if I hadn't seen this great video thanks.

Very cool effect but 2.5 seconds maximum time is way too short for my use. Ten times that would be cool. The Echoboy goes up to 15 seconds but then it doesn't have a freeze button..

I had no idea. After years of using it for simple delay I've hardly touched the surface of this plugin's capabilities.
@Avengedsevenfoldxfan3 жыл бұрын
I saw that Twenty One Pilots uses this on their album Tranch, do you think they used the voice changer with this effect as well??? Or do you think they did that with another?

Are you really Randy Quaid...? Just curious!...enjoyed the tutorial very helpful!!!!...

This is bad ass! Delay of the future.

It's funny because digital delays from the 1980's do all of this. Checkout the Bel BD80.
@Synthlabs7 жыл бұрын
This is based on a digital delay from the 80s. Prime Time.
@Synthlabs7 жыл бұрын
Oh and as far as I know the Prime Time was the only one with Multiply. Really funky cool "feature" that gave it a lot of it's vibe for ambient stuff. But the Bel is certainly cool as well. We love all old gear with character.

Would you throw this in an insert or would this effect still work and be less destruction in Auxilary or sends?
@DAVIESMUSIC3 жыл бұрын
I'd say put this on as an insert! You can adjust the amount of dry/wet signal with the mix fader

What are people using to map the various controls? Want to get all this automation without touching a mouse ever, if possible.

Wondering the same thing.

i didn't realise this effect was so cool... I feel foolish for ignoring it for Echoboy Jr (which is also cool)
@octopusonfire1007 жыл бұрын
They're two different beasts. I made the mistake of trying to use primal tap for the same stuff I'd use Echoboy. I should say "with the same mindset I'd have for echoboy" to be precise.

good point, they have a different purpose, and sound

Ableton's beat repeat can do this.
@nichttuntun33643 жыл бұрын
I guess that makes all Ableton owners not wanting to spend money for the ST plugin. Was that the message?

I wonder if Jean Michel Jarre used the original. Sounds a lot like "Zoolook"

2:10 "peanut beans, peanut beans" sorry too early...
@ZiadSidawi7 жыл бұрын
for couple year I kept nagging the company to no avail. If you map the PrimalTap knobs to a control surface and try to automate - it will not work in beat mode. as ,you move the controllers the knob does not move 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 or 1 beat, etc... instead it starts giving you 0.27 and other sub divisions.... which makes it worthless.
@williamthomasmi107 жыл бұрын
Echoboy (Jr I think...) when in time mode you lose the ability to map the rate/time knob
