I had prime rib a couple of times at the Silverado Steakhouse. Once it was excellent and once it was so so. A lot of these restaurants depend on who is the chef on the day you go.

Visiting South Point several times I have only been to the buffet and Coronado Cafe for the late-night specials. I was not even aware of Primarily Prime Rib, but everything looked great and worth visiting. Nice work Shin!!

The graveyard specials at Coronado can't be beat. There was a period of time I got the $5 cheeseburger many many nights there. You should give PPR a try. I got a bunch of extras for the KZbin video, but you can get a 10oz prime rib with Salad and potato for $23. It's such a solid value dinner. Thanks for watching!

That creamed corn looked very good and the corn looks plump so you know it’s not canned!😅 Now I want to try the hot bacon dressing…and the prices were good! Excellent review Shin. I am a sucker for fresh spinach salad with hot bacon dressing and that looked wonderful. You were smart to get the 16 oz cut prime rib. I think the larger cuts are generally better even if you do not eat it all. I would say you got you money's worth with that meal! I could tell from your expression the mashed potatoes were the only disappointment.

hi Shin : looked good but the only “complaints” I would have re the prime rib: (1) where’s the crust? (2) related to no. 1 above, because they didn’t include the crust, they seemed to shortchange you on the best part - the ribcap part

That's a very fair criticism actually. To be honest, it was one of the cleanest trimmed prime ribs I've had, maybe a bit too clean. The meat itself was still very tender and juicy, but you're right. I was definitely missing more of the crust. Thanks for watching!

I have eaten at Primarily Prime Rib numerous times and it has always been excellent. However, you mentioned several times that all the prime rib entrees come with a salad and potato. In reality, all of the entrees, chicken or fish or even the PRR burger come with the salad and potato as well. BTW, you didn't pay that much more for this dinner than you did for a burger at Guy Fieri's place in the Link. I think you have to admit that you get way more bang for your buck at Primarily Prime Rib.

So true! I've never actually ordered anything but the prime rib but looking back on the menu it looks like you get everything with the other options also! And absolutely, PPR is such a better value than most of the restaurants on the strip. In fact, I'd say everything at South Point is a better value than anything on the strip lol.
