These pieces are pretty cool, similar in feel to the Hard Hero Transformers statues which are 80s accurate, I prefer both of these manufacturers to the movie based, over the top versions. Hard Hero are the best overall especially if you want original accuracy.

Megatron: "I still function." Starscream: "You wanna bet?" Transformers the animated movie such a '80's, classic. Cool statue though it's a bit too dark with the black paint which I'd personally prefer the classic generation one with the all gray and silver look with some black paint. But as this statue is modern with a different look it's okay different but kinda of cool.

Good review again, have them both and megs wins for me, only thing that sux is the sand. Decepticon nameplate isn't off centre, pretty much all G1 poses are legs forward and back rather then straight on, he is looking over his fusion cannon, its actually primes faction symbol that I find off centre and annoying.

A fierce grin I think suits megatron better, a cool switch out would have been a lazerbeak resting on his shoulder or arm,

Nah. Have 3 other optimus. It's probably the best G1 but it's 4X the price of the one I have now. It's better but not 4X better

G1 Transformers are the best! Good piece, even better price. The Transformers setup is looking good! Are you planning to get that XM Optimus? That's my favorite transformer statue I've seen, not even close.

I like the Optimus piece more and I think it's due to the colors. Optimus just has more color and it makes it look better. I think Megatron has much better switch outs though. I actually have a flail (mace with a chain) that my grandfather gave me. It's pretty neat.

I like the old school transformers better. The new ones are a big mess, you can't understand what is going on, they look like a car crash from far away.
