You just didnt pay attention it seems. It was 100% without any doubt clear that Genadi is still injurd and not 100% against Todd. If you saw the first match you saw that Genadi did in fact NOT beat Todd so easily. Now reduce the past strength to 50% and increase the Todd strength with 30% and you could 100% predict the outcome or at least lean heavily on Todd. No rational person saw Genadi (in this state, just look how he looked) as favorite. I just dont know why Genadi accepts these matches. Maybe he need money or thinks ahead, where he will then show up in a best-of-three and beat Devon AGAIN.

I agree. Genadi is (if you are rational) not 100% and in the best case will be 100% of his PAST version against Devon. Meanwhile Devon progressed. It doesnt make sense to have a fight. Same with the fight against Todd. You must always be 20-40% stronger than your last time, I dont know how Genadi can accomplish that in 8 weeks.

He might think that he can "catch up" and win the match, but rationally the odds are against him because of his surgery and the continious progression of Devon. The upside is that we will see a third match, this time both healthy and prime.
