It's only a pinch if you aren't willing to make the sacrifices of longer wait times and more deadhead miles. My experience is that it's often a 4-5 hour wait for a new load. If you get delayed you've got to be able to run as soon as you get a load and then do a split just to get down the road. I'm still making the same amount in revenue that I was last year but it's a lot more of a grind, nearly impossible to find a rythm.
@RichsRiverSmokersWestVirginia2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree. But the way my recaps are I’m usually planned for the next day I usually get the later in the day 90s but I still get a ppln while at or before the 90
@thehovermatic12432 жыл бұрын
@@RichsRiverSmokersWestVirginia sounds good. I’m in flatbed. They don’t pre-plan and most of our shippers operate on bankers hours. Odds are you’ll get enough time to grab a 34 over the weekend so saving your hours for recaps is a recipe for an $1100 settlement.

It's all about the clock, I remember when you told me you just only know how to run in recap. Remember what I told you ? We don't do recap we're going to learn how to do split cause you can't make Good money driving on recap only, sadly if the trainer didn't teach them to work with the clock they're going to have a hard time out here. Lucky you that you will make more money than them cause someone took the time to teach you how to use your clock efficiently. You should teach them like I did with you, they will appreciate it. Good to see at least one student that learned the most most important part that I was teaching them.
