Hey brother stick with it, eventually it going to hit you like a brick in your face and your going to say to yourself it's really that easy to work with the clock. I just want to put this information out there I check this info out with one of the award winning trainers for prime he let me know that just recently prime drop the TNT time to 30.000 miles minimum again got it from a reputable source that great information for new drivers to know, BIG UP TO YOU DEH MAN, STAY STRONG ✌🏿

Keep your head up man. The first two weeks on your own are the worst. But really the first year is hard. And im not taking shots at anyone but as far as I see it company vs lease. I think company is a good way to go to learn the job. Get your clock down pat, learn how to use the split brake effectively, learn your favorite truck stops, learn our customers, learn the major cities, etc. if you need the health insurance and benefits company is a great way to get it. And to be honest in this market company is probably the more consistent way to go. Ive never been a company driver but mathematically there’s a ceiling on how much you can make because you can only run so many miles in a week BUT THATs CONSISTANT PAY. Now in a good market like we had 2-3 years ago, a lease driver is going to make more overall money depending on how they run and If there smart about fuel and there clock. There are a lot of variables that go with leasing. But with that being said I’ve never had trouble making my truck payment. Even on home time, you have to treat it like a business not a job. Different strokes for different folks.

Absolutely agree with you. Leading is a business not a job. Many folks forget about that part. Also the clock and the fuel you mention is very very important. I really appreciate all you guys for commenting and giving me gems. Yall playing a very important roll in me moving towards my goals. I feel like lease and company make about the same depending on how you run the truck. Lease has to pay 1200 for the truck plus 500 plus each fueling and any repairs that aren’t covered over the warranty. Not to mention at the end of the year paying taxes which eats into the profit they made. Essentially it’s the same pay and that’s why I went company

I did that calculation as well. You know the drill 😃 when I am ready to start a business and can use it to leverage other opportunities, then I will go lease. Leasing is a business but I won’t do it until I am ready to leverage it for other opportunities 😃🙏🏾💪🏾

The only reason i lease is vacation time man. I work 6 week straight and take 2weeks home time.. Can't do that with company, how many days we can take as company.. 7 years back when i sterted i did compnay for 7 months and they were giving 2 days off for 2 weeks on the road... That didnt work for me...yes It is all about our priority☺️
