The election was manipulated to keep him in check knowing how popular he was and not being tested by the military. In fact Khan led a campaign to open and investigate 4 contested seats but never materialized Khan was brilliant in his 3.5 years in power. He brought the country together, stabilized the economy and for the first time there was emphasis on education and well fare for the poor. Tax collection and investment increased despite the pandemic That is why he won as a majority in 2024 elections. I'm Egyptian. Perhaps the most similar regime to the Pakistani's military regime is ours in Egypt. Our democracy too was toppled in 2013 by the US in a plan with the Egyptian military. He asked how Western democracies could allow for 3rd world politicians’ ill gotten wealth to be transferred to Western capitals without anyone raising an eyebrow when this was draining resources from the poorest & most vulnerable population & that it needed to stop, 2. He asked why the world needs to be divided into eastern & western blocks & suggested that instead we need to all work together towards the common goal of battling poverty & better prospects for all humanity.
