Well , a lot of you have been waiting for this , but yet again the 1st day got a bit heavy as I was caught up in a session , and span out of control a bit so apologies for any slurring or sloppy camera work. Watch the video through to the end , you might be surprised by my conclusion as to which pub served me the best pint during this tour. Of course I'll have to check out some of these pubs again as the pints might not be consistent at some of the pubs.

I live an hour and a half away from Dublin, but about 3 or 4 times a year myself and a couple of friends make the pilgrimage to Dublin for food and a pub crawl, and when we get off at Connolly Station we get straight into a taxi and head up north to Glasnevin for lunch and a couple of pints at the Gravediggers, it would be a sin to not make it your first stop on a crawl, as you wouldn't be doing justice to the Guinness here if you went there 6 or 7 pints deep. I don't know how they do it, but the Guinness is the best in Ireland, and believe me, I've drank it everywhere on the island, but nowhere has been the same as Kavanaghs, it's a few miles outside Dublin centre, but to any tourists believe me, make that trek if you're any kind of a Guinness fan at all, it's magic.

As a bartender in a previous life here in Dublin i can tell you that the clenliness of the glass is hugely important and also what they use in the dishwasher, some pubs serve tea , coffee and food and the grease can make it's way into the dishwasher and onto the glassws , and also use detergent which affects the glassware too , Walsh's in Stoneybatter is far better than the Gravediggers, pint is better and the staff are not as full of themselves as in the Gravediggers.
