Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

You follow members of the church of Christ around. Do you care to explain predestination in Romans 8:29? The calvinist always get it wrong. Members of the churches of Christ do not deny predestination!!!

@@bellcoolmountain6650 I think Paul explained predestination well enough in chapter 7 and 8.

Reformed theologian R C Sproul comments on the passage in Iraneus: " The first direct mention of infant baptism is around the middle of the second century AD. What is noteworthy about this reference is that it assumes infant baptism to be the universal practice of the church. if infant baptism were not the practice of the first-century church, how and why did this departure from orthodoxy happen so fast and so pervasively? not only was the spread rapid and universal, the extamnt literature from that time does not reflect any controversy concerning the issue.......Those who dispute the validity of infant baptism make it less inclusive with respect to children, depite the absence of any biblical prohbition against infant baptism." Origen (c185 - c254) wrote: "The Church received from the Apostles the tradition [custom] of giving Baptism even to infants. Certainly, if there were nothing in infants that required remission and called for lenient treatment, the grace of baptism would seem unnecessary." So infant baptism was not something that suddenly started in the middle of the third century. Nor was the notion of original sin not taught till that time.

There is wisdom in the council of many. That's why there is no wisdom here.
How would you explain the doctrine of limited atonement to an Arminian?
