Loved the video and I only use MCW paint on my cars. However when I spoke with the owner and maker of this paint for advice after I screwed up my first try he told me that after a 50/50 mix with hardware store lacquer thinner that I should and I quote, “No need to mist or layer this paint. Just hose it on.” This is what I do and it works perfectly.

Thanks Donald, I had visited Mike at MCW when he was in Ohio, he give me a tour of his shop, and told me the same, just hose it on, My current airbrush has a .03mm needled and found the light passes works with that one, I have a .05 in a VL Paasha brush and that will spay some paint, I need a different hose adaptor to run it.. After learning the MCW paints, have been my go to.. Thanks for tuning in, Have a great one!

My biggest challenge is the constant dust particles no matter how much I clean and prep. It always haunts my finished paint job.

Kreg - excellent! I really enjoyed this series. FWIW - I also appreciate your 'style'. I like your intro and wrap-ups - it gives your videos a nice personal touch. Also, the attention to detail of what tools and supplies you are using is very much appreciated. The supplier logos and part numbers is a step above - I like it! If you haven't done so yet - I would watch part 4. I'm curious to see how this paint works AFTER the first coat is all cured and sanded. Thanks again!

Thanks Kevin, really appreciate it! I try to include items used to help others in the hobby, I always get a-lot of questions about numerus things of that I used. I like using the logos and such I think its a nice touch also, always trying to improve my editing skills lol, and come up with something to keep people more engaged. ok, as you were talking about one more coat, I was thinking .... I've heard a couple of model builders say they do seven coats of paint, with wet sanding. I don't know what they consider to be one coat. How many coats would you say you have on this Pontiac, so far?

Hey Ray, my last coat is one too two passes, last one is a heavy coat, total probably have 4 to 5, I spray it on light so it takes a-lot of coats to cover, or I will keep going till satisfied with the results, most time it will depend on the color. I think it depends on if its lacquers or enamels? Have a good one Ray!

How much air pressure you using when spraying???

I run 18 to 19 psi for most of my paints, for me found anything lower the paint doesn't lay as smooth..
