I see your point. It's more fitting to say that Travis, originally playing at JState, chose to commit to Coach Prime at Colorado, rather than being taken from the competition. His decision was a testament to his dedication to the coach's vision.

Let’s break down what Coach Prime is doing and has talked about on many occasions, but most are not paying attention to what he has said, and it will be too late before they realize what has hit them. Coach Prime thinks like an NFL GM, while most college coaches think like college coaches and are sending their scouts all around the country to these HS games whereas coach Prime scouts are at other universities scouting their players. The coach prime plan is called 40-40-20 and it’s going to be too late before they figure it out. 40% grad transfers (Which Coach Prime see as free agents and he uses the portal as the free agent signing period like in the NFL).They have graduated college and are looking to improve their NFL grade on a one-year contract (Like free agents on a one year minimum prove it contract) to come to CU and prove it and in return he provides them exposure on a national stage. An NFL run program with scouts and connections to the NFL. Practices that are designed in an NFL format so when scouts come to practice, they see those players practicing in a format they understand and don’t have to try and figure out if that college player can translate to the NFL. They see it and can provide a real grade. None of these men count against his scholarships. They don’t have to worry about going to class. They report in May just like the NFL is running their rookie and voluntary workouts currently. They have graduated so the NCAA rules about so many coaches’ hours during the summer does not apply. They have a full three months of (CU playbook Install, Film study, strength and conditioning and fall camp. The same process as the NFL). From last year’s class there are six undrafted free agents that have signed with NFL teams. 40% are undergraduates with college experience and have been in power four weight and development programs or top players from the group of 5 or FCS level that have already adjusted to college and again have been scouted and offered a scholarship and they accept and announced they are getting into the portal and coming to CU. Coach Prime is not in the portal searching for players. (CU Scouts, CU offers, Player makes visit, Player accepts, Player announces he is entering the portal already knowing his destination) 20% HS and again it’s going to be too late before they figure out what he is doing. He treats HS recruiting like an NFL Draft class. (There are only 32 five stars per year available) He only wants one 5 star per class and usually the number one guy at whatever position of need. Travis, Cormani, Seaton and he treat that player like the number one draft pick. That player gets the highest NIL deal for his class, Media shine etc. etc. and expected to play right away. The next 4 star is like a second-round pick and paid accordingly and treated accordingly and expected to see some action Dylan and Omarion last year. Drelon and Kam this year. The remaining HS draft picks no more than 4 per class will at least be on special teams like they do in the NFL. They will dress and travel with the team. This will allow them to grow without looking over their shoulders at a bunch of 4 and 5 stars stacked on top of each other that will be disgruntled in two years. Last year’s HS draft class is not competing with this year’s HS draft class, they all have their scholarships and deals and can focus on school and football, and he is not stressing out the NIL pool of money.

Well Explained!, I needed the education. And as the players move to the NFL league from CU, the incoming 4/5 🌟 player may choose CU out of H.S and stay for their max years. Not to mention, they may have a deal where the players go to SEC/ACC teams for a year or 2 to get the good Bed 🪨 strength & Conditioning then Portal to CU for the Schemes & Playbook IMO!😊

That's a such a bad plan ...think about it if your a transfer coming to buffalo your expecting and demanding playing time .. try telling a transfer that they're getting benched when they half only one year to play ...and also most of the transfers from power 5 have lost there starting jobs..good luck winning with other teams throw aways ...

@@aaroncarl2493 The main word you use was plan. Everyone has a plan and tries to execute his or her plan. What you gave was your opinion on his plan, which you are allowed to do. Only time will tell if his plan works and in my opinion it will. You address one aspect of his plan providing your opinion and feeling without any evidence that it will or won't work. You do understand what a graduate is right? That player for example has played at Michigan for 4 years, has a ring, graduated, but is not satisfied with his NFL grade from scouts which means that he got a grade. Coach prime offers him a one-year deal to come to CU and play in an NFL format to improve on that grade. Does that sound like a throw away to you? That will be 40% of the men (5th year seniors) the boys on your team will be facing. That is the equivalent of a team of HS Senior coming to play against your 8th and 9th grade team. What you see as throws aways or guys you and your team celebrated two years ago as 4 and 5 stars coming into your program are now those same 4 and 5 stars with power 5 experience with a chip on their shoulders because people like you are calling them throw aways. His men vs your boys I will take that bet every day.
