It needs really good writing though. So much bad writing/bad plot in New World. Some hit-and-miss also in the original. Give it some great writing and the show would rise up where it belongs in the genre.

You know, I'm sure this is just a big coincidence, but considering that Weird Birds series on twitter happened relatively recently and had glowy things that seem to be pretty similar to anomalies, AND the fact that I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the creator say something about maybe working on an actual show related to it or something, I'm actually starting to think that maybe, just maybe, my crazy theory about it being a Primeval stealth fanwork could actually be real! Still only a tiny chance at this stage I reckon, but the fact that Primeval is even returning to some extent this soon after it is suddenly making it feel a lot more possible, you know?

Listen bucko, this franchise has been stagnant for 10 years. The fandom has dwindled and seemingly lost hope, so the fact that we have an installment of ANY kind is a miracle. When we're *this* starved of Primeval content, we need to accept anything.

I’m I dreaming primeval is coming back whoa whoa so much is coming out this year there’s going to be a new Jurassic World Series kung fu panda 4 despicable me 4 a new lion king movie about mufasa a new Garfield movie and as I heard from BBC David Attenborough is returning with a new series about mammals and I said that it’s a remake of the life of mammals 2002 so much to look forward to this year and please make the series with the novel because I have waited 12 years for a new primeval series and if they do I would like to have Connor and abby back

Technically Connor was in two episodes of New World. The first episode and in the two part finale. Granted, it was two different versions of Connor.
