We never got to Nick Cutter's funeral. I wish they never killed him off. But since they were going to kill him off. Why don't you make it later in season 3?

Because Douglas Henshall wanted out. The original intent was to have Cutter be the one to face Helen down in the Pliocene at the end of season 3.
