I have to disagree man, when they have to do quick edits like this during fights it usually mean they're trying to hide the fact that the actors are bad at the choreography. If you watch hong kong movies and even john wick, they let the scene breathe and go uninterrupted to let you know see clearly what's going on.

The fight choreography for this scene was top notch. In a real life fight, knees, ankles and elbows are the most vulnerable points on your opponent.

@@WhiskeyMyersour Wrong. Eyeballs are the least vulnerable. They are recessed and protected by one of the hardest bones in the human body not to mention it's virtually impossible to not see an attack coming for your eye. The throat is also super protected. A throat attack also take like 10 seconds to be relevant to a fight and in that time the guy can mess you up.

@@alphanerd7221 theoretically speaking of course but your average Joe is ill equipped to deal with dirty tactics to vulnerable areas. It can simply boil down to reaction time. @@christiann1221 I haven't watched Season 2 yet. By "this" I meant Season 1 and the general concept of taking a book and making it into a season's worth of show episodes. Much easier to capture the details of the book over 8 hours of TV episodes vs a single 2 hour movie. Obviously Season 1 didn't hold 100% true to the book (impossible to do, given the book's setting in a pre-9/11 world), but it was a very well-done adaptation...ok, maybe homage is a better description. From the teaser clips I've seen, Season 2 looks to follow a similar path...hold true to the basic bones of the storyline, adapted to a more modern era that addresses the realities of 9/11, current geopolitical relations, and the monstrous evolution of technology over what the books dealt with. I thought Season 1 did a solid job of capturing as much of the story as realistically possible, it was entertaining AF, and Season 2 looks to continue in the same vein.
