Primitive Camping at Padre Island National Seashore

We primitive camp all along the Gulf of Mexico, usually going to North Padre Island National Seashore, South Beach. Here you can drive on the beach 60 miles down to Mansfield Cut. For more information on camping down on the island check out the blog y’all @ farmlifeandlace.com

Those man o wars are TERRIFYING The only things we have on the west coast are stingrays which at least are smart enough to leave you alone No accidental hugs of death lol

Yes they are! My kids aren’t scared of them, they surf and fish anyways. When I see signs of them I enjoy sunbathing on the sand and usually stay out of the water. Sometimes they’re bad, and sometimes we don’t see any!
