Primitive Technology Making Clay Oven for Cooking / Mitti Ka chulha | village style mitti ka chulha,clay stove,
When I think of a clay stove, I think of the cooking of my grandmother and mother. The taste of their cooking is like bringing water to their tongues. Currently the use of this clay stove is decreasing. It goes without saying that this stove is not seen in urban areas. However, in rural areas, earthen stoves are still used for cooking in most of the houses. Many also make clay ovens commercially.
Lately, there has been a gas crisis in urban areas, especially in the capital. Sometimes the gas crisis takes on demonstrable proportions. In such a situation, if there is an earthen stove, at least there will be no need to eat. So having a clay stove in the house can be a time of crisis. You can easily make your own clay stove.
Method of making clay ovens
There are many types of clay ovens. However, in advanced clay ovens, cooking is done with less fuel and less smoke than ordinary ovens. Each clay stove can cost from Rs 50 to Rs 1,500.
Ordinary stove
First you have to make a paste with clay soil, husk and water. Place the clay paste on the dish or bowl and slowly shape the stove with your hands. Then make a round face by cutting it round along the middle like a place. When the wetness of the soil dries, cook as you wish.
Advanced stove
Make the pulp with clay soil, husk and water as before. Adjust the size of the stove and divide it into 2 parts. Make VT in one part with mud. Leave a gap in the middle of the VT. This is the main stove. Now make a secondary stove next to the main stove, its hole will be smaller than the first one. Shape the stove with clay on it. Make a ditch between the two holes so that the fire can go from the main stove to the secondary stove. Place the cement pipe on the VT of the secondary stove. Which will let the smoke out through the kitchen shed or roof. Put a perforated cap on the mouth of this pipe.
