This was before the urine test strips had been developed. Primodos was quicker and considerably cheaper for the NHS than the alternative way of testing for pregnancy at the time (injecting the women's urine into a toad and waiting to see whether it produced eggs).

What a great day for the brave victims.i hope they live a full and happy life.as they deserve.but its a shame that sky seem more concerned about telling everyone how they made the government do a u turn. Surely it's enough that justice seems to be getting done.just find it hard that sky have tarnished this great victory.
