Primus at Vina Robles 07/07/2024: Jerry was a Race Car Driver, My Name is Mud

Always awesome to see Primus. Stellar three piece with super high level musicianship. They played an obscure, darker, and trippier tune selection of course with a handful of their mainstay tunes thrown in. Especially liked
Ms Blaileen, Jerry was a Racecar Driver and My Name is Mud sequence. Sound mix was was a bit heavy handed on Claypool's bass. I yelled at Ler to turn it up a few times. Stage setup really good with lights and video. Crowd was mellow - no pit action. Vina Robles is a fine venue with good food and beer, and up slopped concrete area in front of stage providing good view and opportunity to get close.

I was there! First time seeing them, and with my gf who just got into them a couple months prior. Fucking amazing show. Primus sucks!
