I thought the old-time country musicians were somewhat the same way, from the 40s - 80s. Except, I'm saying they're not "rough and tough" here. Not really humorous, just talented at their game while often being relaxing. In other words, they're not formulaic of modern country. The vocals are not showy, not stereotypical, and their guitar picking is surprisingly good to listen to. Guys like Roy Clark, Chet Atkins, Joe Maphis, Merle Travis, Roy Acuff (well, not Acuff so much for guitar, but he gets an honorable mention for being in the relaxing old country category.) Probably others too, but I don't know all of them. There's also Danny Gatton, who was mindblowing when he'd get to flying on the strings. But he's more recent, mostly 1980s - 1994, when he got drunk and shot himself. I have no idea why.

He's got he's very unique style of playing, its not technical witchcraft (technically i would sitll put him in top 10 of bassists) he's more in to powerfull sound but somehow they mastered it with the drummer in to decent rythm section that makes some noise. I like this shit it sound little bit like The Who or Rush or some faster parts of good jazz

Wobbly Ashes - There is no error of spelling. There is an error of punctuation in “fella’s” which should be “fellas”. As far as “they will get shit done” I disagree. “They will get shit done” which is the future tense and “made me think” which is the past tense, juxtaposed together, conveys perfectly the weird incongruity of these huge, plastic grinning cowboys strutting through a field. Replacing “will” with “would” though grammatically “correct” is entirely useless from a rhetorical point of view. “Will” is rhetorically correct in that it properly conveys Evil Gary’s sentiment.

Another thing is that because the band's cowboy suits were so cumbersome, they played along to the track slowed down significantly to more easily coordinate their actions to the music; plus, this gave the illusion of the band moving rather quirky and fast when played back in regular form EDIT: got it from wikipedia so I don't know if it's true

I used this big huge stockpile of old billboards as my own mysterious playground while security guards were asleep off the freeway near Wally McCartney’s Oldsmobile dealership off Penn Avenue in Richfield MN long ago. There were also a few giant sized statues sculpted from out of metal rebar and fiberglass. I would try and go up inside of them if I could find any openings. I never injured myself but once my leg went through one of those statues. This reminds me of those fond times I had as a kid. And those Duracell commercials.

@@ethai1 The lore behind that is that one time Primus made shirts with "Primus sucks" on them and it caught on so even when someone said with contempt that Primus sucks they could still take it as a compliment. Dear Goldfish Crackers. My son (Eddie Jnr) shouts a big Hello! Ever since I paid for some ladies (Posh Spice Sorts) to give his Bindon a thrash, he's been most respectful to me! - And he's calmed down enough to stop kicking the local Police! If you are in the USA, then it wont do your own son any bother to be serviced by 2 clean ladies! - Get their 'clean certificates' first, then let him off the leash.. Much Love & Gasms. Eddie.
