Those 2 were also suggested to me and I bought Mandodari last week (Saringkarn was out of stock) and I can also vouch that its awesome. I think Mandodari is the recreation of Morah since it got discontinued.

Cheers Rams ,gotta admit it does sound promising for sure, however this year I am going to be soooo picky and selective kinda laser focused on some rare vintage classics and new releases of limited Ouds and Artisinal gems ie Ambrosia for example, looking forward to that one arriving soon 😊,cheers as ever, appreciate the heads up on your videos for sure✌️🙏👍

I think all frag heads get to that point eventually... when you are saturated & have to be very selective .... maybe a sample is in order 🍻

Prin is definitely a creative guy, but I feel like he doesn’t always see an idea to fruition. I get the impression that if he had stuck to film and never gotten into perfumery 90% of the things he’d make would be weird, experimental shorts. The discrepancy in time he spends on these is crazy, I think I remember someone (ouch110?) saying he spent 6 years on one but a few weeks on some others. I like this and Tom Yum from his Prissana line, but they’re the only ones so far I consider to be direct hits. Most everything else I either disliked or enjoyed elements of, but found that it suffered from the exact things you mentioned in this video - balance issues regarding the animalics and spices. I think Nocturnal Poetry would be a real banger for me with 30% less piss and turmeric. His incense/more classic chypre fragrances might be a bit better, but I don’t feel like my nose has developed enough to appreciate incense-dominated frags or aldehydes yet. There’s also something in Nimitr I think I might like. I said all that, but I just got into the hobby like 3 months ago and don’t know what the hell I’m talking about, haha. I’m just having fun smelling stanky things

@@RamseytheRam I’m not 100% sure if this was meant positively or not, but I’ll take it! 😆

It absolutely was meant positively... you sound wise beyond your sniffing years

The way PRIN has been belting out perfumes one after the other you would surely think he is a MAD SCIENTIST. I wish he seriously slowed down and built something that’s far more interesting and intriguing. Quality is always better than quantity. From that perspective , I thought one of his recent releases KRISSANA was a better one. Think I’ve sent you a sample of that.

I think I saw that sample floating around revently when digging! And I agree taking your time and making one good fragrance is much preferred to 10 mediocre frags anyday 🙏🙏🙏

When I wore this for the first time, I thought it smelled like meat rotting outside in the sun. Absolutely vile. It put me off from wearing it again for a very long time. But then wearing it again really made me fall in love with it. Now it smells warm, comforting. Remember pencil sharpeners? To me it smells like the wood slivers you get when sharpening a pencil I've only worn it at home, I'm afraid to wear this outside, since I'm worried people will get that "rotting meat" smell that I first experienced

Its crazy how the nose changes over times... its why I tell people dont sell scents if they are to animalic for you....come back to them later

Prin, Pryn, Pr1n, Pr!n, Prîn, Pryin, Prýn, Pr|n, Preen with hundreds of releases for each Alright, if it's good, I'll smell the damn thing if I'll ever accidentally come across it, maybe at a random store in some random country

With the exception of one or two houses, the ignorant and 'god complex' approach of so many artisanal houses irritates and puts me off completely tbh... it's the no interest in learning the well trodden path in the art of perfumery and following the process and finishing it..... they just pump out concoctions until they stumble cross something people rate and pretend it was all intentional... yet forget about the 10 other god awful compositions they made!... For me, my respect for the greats isn't just based on their masterpieces, but also their lack of dog 💩
