" The title of Aga Khan was first granted to Aga Hassanaly Shah, the 46th Ismaili Imam, by the Shah of Persia, in the 1830s. The title of His Highness was granted by Her Majesty the Queen of England (1957) and His Royal Highness was granted by His Imperial Majesty the Shah of Iran (1959)." Learn the facts first. The titles were given only out of respect for the Imam of that time by various leaders of the world. The family of the Imam and the Imam also are very educated people. They have their own businesses and are personal stakeholders in various areas. They have for profit anf nonprofit organizations. What is wrong with any of that? The amount of work and time invested by the Imam and his family towards multitude life building and sustaining operations are very open to the global society. Do you think international leaders and government bestow honors on the Imam without actual data, research and validation? Please. Just because you couldn't follow through on something doesn't mean over 1400 years of guidance and leadership is all false. Peace out! Allah knows best.

There is no space for poor people in Jamat khana you know that If you have lots of money then you can get seat in front to sit with other rich high bidders. Then I realized that you are most likely an Ex Ismaili/convert or someone who has been given details of what happens inside JK but without any actual historical information or why anything is actually done. Either way, when anyone brings in "money" and rich vs poor type of conversations this means that there are personal issues about the matter. Wearing Sarees? What does that have anything to do with anyone's faith or their soul? Why are you so judgemental of what people wear, I thought you were a Allah loving muslim. Women wearing Hijabs make them more better Muslims? How so? How do you know? Men who wear " Islamic" robes/clothes litterally bomb, shoot and murder innocent people because they think they are true Muslims? So those sorts of people please you since their pjysical attire is more "Islamic?" Saree is a traditional outfit and cultural. It doesn't make anyone wearing one more or less of a Muslim. Wearing a saree will not break the Bayah't of a mureed. Get rid of your ignorance. Sell food??? Many religious institutions have food offerings. Most are sentimental or ceremonial offerings that were established by people out of wanting to offer something to God. A practice that is thousands of years old in which valuables are presented to God. Research it. Even if you are a Sunni, essentially what is a Sunnat? Following the traditions and practices of what Holy Prophet possibly performed? Many things that are not even mentioned in the Quran yet muslims do these things because they have been following traditions. Which religion is book based only and do not add any human made or cultural ceremonies to their practice? Tell me. Even mazjids raise and collect money. Do you keep track of their accounts also? Rich vs poor exists everywhere. Just because someone has more money to be able to do something doesn't make them bad people. How foolish to think so. There is and always will be where some people will have an upper hand in life while others do not. This doesn't mean you disown an entire belief system because people earn more or if rich people do not support poor members in the community. This isn't the fault of a religion or any faith based community, this is the choice of the person. I can understand that people may think, why are there people suffering if we are giving Dasond, giving donations or food offerings are sold for money. I can understand why people may question why we must pay to enter a majlis of while we give dua, and then what happens to all that money. Well, you are not the only one who is poor. That money has gone to building hospitals, schools, homes, waterways, scholarships, roadways and countless other things to help people in other parts of the globe. There are many people who are not Ismailies but still received free education based on merit. The money goes to pay salaries of teachers, doctors, skilled workers, construction etc who live in remote areas of societies and earn an income under the Imam's institutions. Brother, sister, whoever you are. If you don't fully understand why things are done then read and learn about it yourself because your own knowledge is very lacking. In end, May Allah guide us all on the right path which is of humanity and kindness.

All Ismailis believe and follow Quran. The major difference is they dont BLINDLY believe in Imams of Salafis and others who declared that Quran says Earth is Flat. There is no complete list of saheeh hadith throughout the history. It also says sun rise from the horn of the devil! Only INSANE can follow this. Ismailis believe in TRUE order of Allah sent to his Prophet (SAS) at Ghadeer-e-Khum. (refer Ahmad bin Hambal Fazail Sahaba) Mowla Ali (A.S) is the first Imam after him and he is the WaLee who is assigned by Allah for spiritual help to his mureeds. As Prophet said he is Wali of all Momins after him. (refer Ahmad bin Hambal Fazail Sahaba)
