They’re great support to the late Queen and to the rest of the Royal Family. The Earl and Countess are dependable and remarkable royal couple. Their commitment to duty is admirable. I have a lot of time for this Couple, they really did step up to the plate during Covid. Does Edward have a problem with shaking hands with people though!!

as long as he uses a hand sanitiser before eating there is no problem. People touch doors, bathroom facilities, items in shops that have been touched by many people so you will always have this problem, you can't forever not shake hands or touch things but he can sanitise before eating etc.

Maybe he is just like Princess Anne. I read in an article that the Princess did not do handshake. She thought as it was impossible to handshake everyone, so rather than leaving out some people, she made it a protocol not to do it at all. However she did engage with the people she met the best she could by having conversations.
