And that’s a good thing, family is important no matter what happens. I had a huge rift in my own family for years, it was painful, we are just now starting to reconcile also thanks to some other more “neutral” family members. Regardless what anyone says or thinks King Charles is still Harry's dad and he came, knowing the reception he would get from the family, kept a low profile, showed some respect to his father by keeping out of any limelight and left as quietly as he arrived, to go home and celebrate his little ones birthday. This is why cousins are such a precious thing. There is a very special bond and love with cousins. I have a bigger bond with mine than with my own brother that I do love dearly. But I do feel that some of my cousins love me and respect me more. If I ever got married I would invite them all. The York girls are wonderful people, and Harry will always have them, it seems. They haven’t abandoned him just because public opinion, instrumentalized by the media as it was, has turned against him; and that is called character, spine and integrity! The lesson being that one should only focus on those who love us and are kind to us, and that’s that.
