I am an American and I don't see PH or his wife ever going back to the UK much less rejoining the Royal Family. We don't like either one of them. PH signed away his rights to be a senior royal. apparently harry's father told him about his cancer diagnosis several days before harry suddenly decided to fly to London uninvited and he did so to get some good press prior to attending the invictus games. Note he said to the interviewer he loves his family. Which family?. The father he trashed? His father's wife that he called evil? The trashing of his brother William and his sister-in-law, Catherine? Letting his wife mock his supposedly beloved late grandmother? The reality is that harry doesn't care about any of them unless he can get something out of them any way he can, and hopefully his treasonous and malicious and untrustworthy behavior will rebound on him.

Prince Harry will not be entering the court of king charles to take over some duties. He left the royal duties at his will and the firm accepted his resignation. His family especially the late Queen gave her blessings and a very pompous farewell, when Harry wore his military uniform. Princess Royal Ann use to say "Let's not be too hasty" about sending Harry packing....then, Oprah, and SPARE and EndGame and H&M's bots firing off hateful, disgusting articles about William and Catherine and Anne has not said another word about Harry. 6. Charles use to say "reconciliation" but, I think Spare, EndGame and the attacks on William and Catherine did it for him...he gave Harry a whole 12 minutes of time to visit and set it up that Harry must give 28 days notice to visit. I think Charles wishes him well in his life, but, would not go against his entire royal family to ask Harry back. 7. When Harry was with the royal family, they spent their time cleaning up his messes from Africa to Afghanistan to AU to UK, US...bailing him out of trouble, paying off people to not tell what it was he did this time, and sending royal family members to apologize for whatever ridiculous thing Harry just did. I do not see William putting up with that, exposing HIS family to that. The royal family have had it with Harry. I can see William and Charles offering Harry paid inpatient psych care and rehab for a year or so, then a leased apartment near the rehab center for continued treatment, drug/alcohol testing, but, it may be YEARS before they would feel OK with inviting Harry for dinner.
