Prince Harry honoured with prestigious award in the US

The Duke of Sussex is said to be honoured with a prestigious award in the US next month for his work in the veteran community.
It was announced on Thursday that Prince Harry was chosen as an honoree of the 2024 ESPY Awards.
The 39-year-old is reportedly one of three recipients of the Pat Tillman Award for Service, with the award ceremony being held on July 11 and hosted by US tennis legend Serena Williams.
The award, named after former NFL player and US Army Ranger Pat Tillman, recognises those who have made significant contributions to the world.
Former NFL player Steve Gleason will be honoured with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage after battling with the fatal motor neuron disease ALS.
Legendary US basketball coach Dawn Staley will also be awarded the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance.

I don't know if they bought this award or Serena pull strings for Harry to get it, but this is truly disgraceful to dishonor Pat Tillman's memory, a great war hero who left his high paying football career to join the military, fought and died for his country in Afghanistan and whose close relationship with his younger brother prompted him to follow suit with his brother in Afghanistan, his memory is being dishonored by giving an award bearing his name to this selfish, spoiled, whiney, spineless brat Harry who it was reported spent most of his time in the bunker while in Afghanistan with high level security and abandoned his country and his royal duty to serve others and moved to another country with his horrible wife to make money and who betrayed his brother, sister in law and father for money and uses the Invictus games to promote himself and his horrible wife. The contrast between the two men is striking. Disgusting that he is getting the Pat Tillman award.

What for. Handbag harry - is stolen valour. He had a film crew following him everywhere he went in Afghanistan. He could not have been an Apache helicopter pilot. That takes three years - minimum - of tough training. There is not record of him - being in an intensive - pilots course for three years. His instructors at Sandhurst - just gave him pass marks - despite the fact - he failed every course. The image of him in the Apache helicopter - he jumps into the weapons officer seat. The scene of him on the .50 caliber machine gun - is on the British Army Base range in Afghanistan - not the front lines. He was only in Afghanistan for 10 weeks. And given a campaign medal - despite - never completing a full tour of duty.
