Tillman died by unfortunately by friendly fire. Marie Tillman Shenton, who was married to Pat Tillman when he was killed in Afghanistan, is the chair and co-founder of the Pat Tillman Foundation. Tillman's mother, Mary Tillman, is not involved in the Tillman Foundation and has no role in the selection of the Pat Tillman Award. His widowed wife is part of this decision and his mother is estranged from his widow. Sounds like the British media reached out to her. Caroline Graham is the same lame person that has been communicating with Thomas Markel that wrote this! This says it all! This needs to 🛑! As a mother and someone who wants to honor her son and what this foundation stands for she should have done the necessary research to find out what Invictus Games was and why Harry is being honored regarding it. She was too quick to attack the character of a man she didn’t know and as a result she attacked a former soldier who was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice and on his return from war he created something he knew was greatly needed for wounded soldiers and their families globally.
