Prince Harry's legal action against UK Home Office starts in the High Court today

The first stage of the Duke of Sussex’s claim against the Home Office over his police protection in the UK will be heard at the High Court.
Harry is bringing legal action over a decision not to allow him to pay for police protection for himself and his family while in the UK.
The duke wants to bring his children to visit from the US, but he and his family are “unable to return to his home” because it is too dangerous, a representative previously said.

British police are not a mercenary for-hire service. No other ordinary citizen, whether from the UK or foreigners is given police protection here. This pair wanted to be ordinary citizens, so if they feel they need protection, let them do what any other "celebrity" has to do, and pay bodyguards.

That's not the case. Because of the knowledge of the secret service forewarning potential attacks against him is what he is talking about. Look at what has just happened to the former PM of Japan. Could it be that the secret service there was not on high alert as he is no longer PM and therefore considered not at risk? That may well be. The truth is private security does not have the access and reach the secret service has. Secondly, the reason for this hate is all to do with him marrying a woman that has got black blood, really Britain us this how far you will go with racism? Shame in all of you

Rich or not, one ought not be able to pay cash for extra publicly funded services - else the police and secret service simply become hired goons, serving those that pay them extra. He wanted to be average Joe, he gets the same level of 'protection' as average Joe does ... furthermore.. if the Prince doesn't feel safe in his own country.. how are his subjects supposed to feel about their safety? He shan't expect safety that isn't being publicly accorded to British subjects, by the Crown. The Crown's duty is to Her subjects, her people.. not herself.. not her family or friends. Bound by actual contract.
