Its been alleged but no clear evidence it happened has been made public Its also alleged the money was already ear marked prior for Invictus games before Harry left the royal foundation (founding member with William so money was his and William's Catherine joined after marrying William each have own projects with the foundation eg InvictusGames was always harrys) so we dont know for a fact it was from williams media pay out. What is clear is it doesn't matter what William did with it. It doesn't change that the media did a deal with one brother the hier and stiffed the other the spare over the same illegal action they both were impacted by.

At best he may do public appearances some day, but Harold has too much jealousy and envy of William and it's best to close the door. If Harry had left, not gone on Oprah, written nasty books and interviews, he may have been able to return in some capacity, but he not only burned but blew up that bridge and the 1000 miles around it.
