Prince Harry has visited one of the world's largest mosques during an official tour of Oman.
Dressed in a blue suit and tie, the Prince took off his shoes, in accordance with Muslim custom, before entering the main prayer hall of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat.
Inside, he marvelled at the eight-ton Swarovski crystal chandelier hanging from the central dome, and at the hand-woven prayer carpet which took 400 weavers four years to complete.
The mosque was a gift to the nation from the current ruler, Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, to mark the 30th year of his reign.
Built from 300,000 tonnes of Indian sandstone, it took six years to complete and has space for 20,000 worshippers.
