I'm 48 and this tune sounds as fresh as the day I was born,if that makes sense.

True comment bredren! Politics remains the same - capitalism, socialism, neither have been very successful in JA or elsewhere. ..

I’m of the same generation and this tune is certainly one that epitomises that era - one of my all time favourite riddims 🎶

@@studioseventeen7000 Yes indeed it is small world. Had some good times at Samuel Pepys...Ian Wright went to the same school we were in the same year... Also used to go Lewisham boys Club...When Sounds like Sledgehammer and Prophecy not forgetting Saxon Sound System used play. Truly grateful for growing up during those times... Bless up king.

@trevor small Yes was a great time really - despite the hardships, there was a real sense of community, and the music!! Sounds like you were a couple years ahead of me at school - I finished school 1979 but left Samuel Pepys 1977 to go to Tulse Hill. I never went to Lewisham Boys Club, but did get to hear Sledgehammer a few times - great sound : ) I used to go Moonshot when it was the old house on Pagnell Street to hear Shaka, my favourite sound back in the day - he also went to Samuel Pepys I believe. ..!!!
