Prince and Princess of Wales didn't mysteriously appear. They and their children processed behind the King as a part of his procession. And I think Prince Louis behaved very well, better than many 5 years old children. Princess Charlotte did a great job taking care her young sibling and attended the ceremony with regal.

My understanding is the Wales were originally supposed to enter the church ahead of Charles, but Charles' carriage arrived early, throwing the timing of the procession off. So it was a bit of a glitch but nothing scandalous the way the news is trying to make it seem.

It was well done to give little Louise a chance to retire for a time. His behaviour was very fine. *I wish they would talk more about the great job Prince George did.* I mean he's just a little boy himself (9 yrs old), and he conducted himself like an adult, but no one seems to notice or care! It bothers me as a mother of 3...the same dynamic: My eldest son always got overlooked, and it use to break my heart to see my eldest son's face because he was being overlooked yet again by unfeeling people who just don't have a clue! For a 2 hour service He was so well behaved. My girls would have been singing and running up and down the Abbey. It was ALL Wonderful Humbling and Magnificient.

Prince Louis did not attend the entire service. He made an appearance and then left to be with the nanny and then returned for the final events. It was a good move by Catherine so he wouldn’t get restless during an entire 2 hour service. A good compromise.

I would say if any of those children stole the show it was Charlotte with her tender, loving care for her younger brother. She looked like every little girl's dream of a Princess. She's growing up to be a real beauty. Little Louis conducted himself so very well and never put a hair out of place. George looked a little nervous throughout. He was chewing the insides of his cheeks the whole time but he did extremely well. I was so very proud of those children.

This kind of stuff is incredibly boring to children that age but even to be still that long is doubly noteworthy. I can’t get over how big George is getting and Charlotte is so good at all of it.
